Replacing the Fuel Filter on a Subaru Forester

Model: Subaru Forester SG, MK 2 - Years 2002-2008

Replace the damaged fuel filter on a Subaru Forester if it has been in use for too many miles. Lift the front bonnet and locate the fuel filter on the right. Use pliers to disconnect the circulation pipes (you can also unscrew the clamp screws). Then, remove the metal hook located near the container where the fuel filter is situated. Remove the filter from the engine bay (replace it with a new one). Fit the new filter into the engine bay (connect the pipes and cables) and tighten the clamp screws. Attach the filter. Start the vehicle.
