To replace the rear light bulb on a Subaru Forester, lift the tailgate to access the screws next to the light. These screws need to be loosened so that the light can be removed from its housing. Once removed, disconnect the connector at the back and pull the bulb out from its housing. After inserting the new bulb, reconnect the connector and secure the light back in place with the appropriate screws.
