How to Reset the Service Light on a Subaru Forester

If you have just completed the regular service on your Subaru Forester, but the warning light continues to illuminate at each start, you need to perform a manual reset. First, ensure that all the car doors are properly closed. Then, turn on the ignition and scroll through the onboard computer menu until you select "Settings". Next, enter "Maintenance". Finally, go to "Maintenance schedule" and select the "Update" option. A few moments later, the reset is complete, and the warning light will no longer activate from the next start. To reset the oil light, follow the same procedure.
