Given the rather simple structure of your Subaru Forester Mk2 key, replacing the battery is particularly straightforward and can be done by anyone. Just follow the steps outlined below. First, obtain a small cross-head screwdriver and remove the two screws located at the back of the cover. Then, take off the cover and remove the exhausted button battery. At this point, simply insert the new compatible battery and finally, reassemble the cover by screwing back in the two screws you removed earlier.
