Today, discover how to carry out the routine maintenance service by replacing the engine oil and oil filter on the second series Subaru Forester. First, lift the vehicle and remove the plastic cover located under the engine; then use a socket spanner to unscrew and remove the oil drain plug, allowing it to drain into a container for about ten minutes.

At this point, use the appropriate tool to unscrew the oil filter cartridge; replace it with the new one and finally pour in the oil with the correct specifications!
