How to Replace the Oil Filter on a Subaru Forester?

To replace the oil filter on a Subaru Forester, access the underside of the vehicle to unscrew the oil drain plug, collecting the oil in a container. Once all the oil has been removed, close the reservoir with the appropriate plug and then open the bonnet. On the right side of the engine block, you will find the oil filter, which can be removed by simply unscrewing it from its housing. Once removed, insert the new filter and then close the bonnet.
