Basic DIY Maintenance for a Subaru Forester

In this video, learn how to perform basic DIY maintenance on a first-generation Subaru Forester. For the oil and filter replacement, you will need a large container positioned under the oil tank to collect the old oil, as you will first need to unscrew the tank bolt. Next, use a screwdriver to detach the oil filter and replace it with a new one. Finally, under the bonnet, simply unscrew the oil cap and pour in new oil. For the air filter, detach its supports in the engine bay, remove it, and replace it with a new one or clean it with a brush or compressed air. The video also shows how to reinforce the screws of the number plate or simply replace the wiper blades that have corroded over time.
