How to Disable the Hill Holder on Subaru Vehicles

To disable the hill assist system in the vehicle, follow the instructions provided in this video and the description below. First, access the cabin and sit in the driver's seat, insert the ignition key into the ignition switch and turn on the dashboard to disable this driving aid. Locate the deactivation button for the traction control system, which is found on the lower left side of the dashboard near the driver's door. Press and hold this button for at least 30 seconds, after which the yellow warning light for the deactivation of the aid will illuminate on the dashboard. To reactivate it later, perform the reverse procedure.
