Subaru Impreza - Video tutorial

Model: Subaru Impreza MK 4 - Years 2011-2016
Part: Brake pads
Operation: Replacement of rear brake pads

In order to be able to replace the rear brake pads, it is advisable to loosen the wheel fixing pins before even lifting the car; once lifted and placed in safety on special car stands, complete the disassembly of the wheel; in order to remove the old pads it is not necessary to completely disassemble the caliper, but simply unscrew the lower pin and make it rotate using the upper one as a hinge: to facilitate this operation, remove the brake hose clamp; once the old pads have been removed, apply the new ones, re-enter the caliper piston with an arc clamp and place it back in its seat by tightening the relative fixing pin and that of the hose support clamp.
