Replacing Front Discs and Pads

Model: Subaru Impreza MK 4 - Years 2011-2016

Lift the vehicle on appropriate axle stands and remove the front wheel. Unscrew the caliper mounting pins and remove the caliper from its seat, take out the brake pads, and also detach the caliper bracket. Use the two threaded holes on the disc to insert two bolts and use them as a puller to remove the disc from the hub. Clean the disc seat on the hub with a metal brush, apply grease to prevent corrosion, and install the new disc. Then, reattach the caliper bracket, insert the new brake pad sliding plates and new brake pads, and finally remount the caliper.
