How to Reset the Oil Change Light on a Subaru Ascent?

To reset the Oil Change light on a Subaru Ascent, press and hold the VIEW button located in the center of the dashboard, below the display. This will access the menu, where you need to scroll to select "Maintenance" and then "Engine oil." Using the controls in the center of the dashboard, you can modify the maintenance interval and confirm the change by selecting "Update." This will completely turn off the Oil Change light on the instrument panel, allowing it to be turned off.
