The procedure to manually reset the engine oil light on the Subaru Ascent without diagnostic tools is not the simplest, but don't worry because this guide will make it easy. First, turn on the vehicle's ignition.

Use the turn signals located in the center of the dashboard to scroll through the onboard menu and find the settings page. Press and hold the "Enter" button, and once in the settings, select the "Maintenance" option.

Go to "Oil life" and adjust the remaining miles until the next oil change. Finally, exit the menu, and you're done.
