Caring for the engine bay may seem like a daunting task, as it is thought that cleaning could damage the engine. However, it is actually one of the simplest areas to maintain.

Modern engine bays are well protected and designed to withstand much more demanding tasks than cleaning. You will simply need a degreaser, a protective spray, and a cloth or brush for the degreaser.

The process will take between twenty to forty-five minutes, depending on how dirty the bay is. The engine bay should be cleaned every 3 to 6 months to keep it clean and protected.
