The TPMS light on a Subaru Forester may illuminate when it is necessary to adjust the tyre pressure or when one of the tyres is flat. In both cases, it is essential to adjust the tyre pressures as specified by the manufacturer and then reset the light.

To perform the reset on this type of vehicle, use a diagnostic computer connected to the OBD2 port of the Forester. From the menu that appears on the onboard computer, select the model and year of the vehicle, then select the option related to tyre pressure and complete the reset.

Finally, turn off and on the ignition before disconnecting everything.
