In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the cabin filter in the Subaru Forester, a very simple and quick operation. First, position yourself on the passenger side, then go underneath the dashboard and locate the filter housing.

Next, unlock the two retaining clips using a flathead screwdriver, open the cover, and remove the old filter. At this point, clean the inside of the housing from any dirt residue, insert the replacement filter in the correct orientation, and reassemble everything.
