Traction control functions on the Suzuki Jimny

In this video we can see the functions of the traction control of the Suzuki Jimny: when the road situation becomes difficult, we will move the lever to "4H" to engage the 4WD traction; to face the steepest slopes we will switch to "4L" mode by engaging the low range. Returning to paved roads, we will move the lever back to "2H" to return to two-wheel drive. The vehicle is equipped with the "All grip pro" system with transfer case, synchronizer, and locking hubs, which however is not immediate: it may take several seconds from the transfer lever movement. All the technical data of the three possible driving functions with this vehicle are indicated. If the 4WD indicator light continues to flash after engagement, it is possible that the system is not functioning correctly; with the "4L" system, the ESP system is disengaged to provide greater traction.
