How to change oil and filter on the Suzuki Swift II diesel.

Let's see how to change the engine oil and filter of a Suzuki Swift II diesel. First, unscrew the filler cap to allow the oil to drain more easily. Lift the front of the car, place a container under the oil pan, and unscrew the drain plug. The diesel Swift has a cartridge filter, so we will also need to place a container under the filter flange to collect the oil that spills out. Remove the old gasket and thoroughly clean the gasket seat and the inside of the flange. Then, install the new cartridge with the new gasket, which we will have lubricated with a bit of clean oil. Tighten the cover by hand and secure it to 25 Nm. Replace the drain bolt and gasket of the oil pan with new ones and pour in the new engine oil up to the 906 mark of the total quantity. Start the engine and let it run for 30 seconds to fill the filter. Check the oil level and add oil until we reach the "max" level on the dipstick. Properly dispose of the used oil and the old filter at an authorized center.
