How to Remove the Dashboard and Replace the Lights

Model: Suzuki Jimny Jb43, Jb23, Jb53, Jb33 - Years 1998-2018
Part: Instrument panel light

The video illustrates which bulb is needed for the lighting of the heating controls. First, unscrew the two screws located at the bottom of the speedometer bezel. Then, pull the dashboard outwards to unclip it. To extract the buttons, insert a very thin flat-head screwdriver beside the button, as shown in the video, with the hazard button. Then, grasp the knobs for adjusting the heating system and pull them out. At this point, you can remove the clip-on trim of the controls by prying it off first from one side and then the other. Next, in the centre, you can extract the bayonet bulb using pliers and caution. To remove the rest of the dashboard, under the ashtray, you need to unscrew two screws, and you will find another two after it has been removed, as shown in the guide; the last screw is located just below the heating controls, at the top of the frame where the radio is housed.

Installation of Upgraded Intercooler Radiator with Pipes

Lift the vehicle on suitable axle stands, remove the front wheels, and then the front bumper and grille. Proceed to remove the front headlights; drain the coolant, remove the intercooler radiator and the hoses connecting it to the intake system. Position the new intercooler radiator in the grille, temporarily securing it with cable ties, and mark with a marker the part of the metal that needs to be removed to allow the new hoses to pass through. Cut the marked portion of metal and apply a gasket to the edge. Remove the inner cover of the bumper and position it near the radiator to identify any interfering parts to eliminate: again, apply a gasket to the edge of the cut. Create brackets for securing the new radiator and proceed with the installation of the connecting pipes from the radiator to the intake, shaping and connecting them appropriately. Finally, reassemble the bumper, headlights, and grille.
