Instructions for Disassembling the CV Joint

Model: Suzuki Liana MK 1 - Years 2001-2007
Part: Axle shaft

Start by loosening the central fastening nut of the driveshaft at the hub before lifting the vehicle. Also, loosen the wheel fastening bolts and then proceed to lift the vehicle, completing the removal of the wheel. Remove the fastening bolt of the wishbone ball joint at the hub and extract the ball joint to withdraw the driveshaft first from the wheel side and then from the gearbox side. Position a container to catch any oil that may spill. Once the driveshaft is removed, extract the old CV joint using a press, insert the new boot, and then apply the new joint after generously greasing it. Reverse the process to install the driveshaft back onto the vehicle.
