Residents of the Indian subcontinent are truly resourceful at making do with little and repairing what we in Europe would have no qualms about replacing. This Tata Zest was in really poor condition, yet it was spray-painted using makeshift techniques with a truly stunning result, achieving perfect shades (granted, it is white paint, which requires less attention). First, let the filler dry well, then sand it patiently with fine sandpaper, and finally apply the primer. For painting, the technique is that of makeshift repairs: masking with newspapers and painter's tape, and spray paint. You could use a spray can; just apply more coats.
