If you want to replace the battery on this car model because it is depleted, the following description provides step-by-step instructions to safely perform the replacement. With the hood open, locate the battery on the left side of the engine compartment.

First, disconnect the negative terminal, followed by the positive terminal. Lift the handles on top of the battery to remove it from the compartment, then take the new battery and place it in its housing, reconnecting the positive terminal first and then the negative terminal.
