Tata Nexon - Video tutorial

Model: Tata Nexon MK 1 - Years 2017-2024
Part: Battery
Operation: How to use the battery reset switch of the Hyundai Nexon

In this video we can see how to use the battery reset switch of a Hyundai Nexon car: this car has two batteries, one larger one that powers the engine and a smaller 12-volt battery for accessories and starting the vehicle. If for some reason the 12-volt battery is dead, it is possible to start the car with the traction battery by pressing the 12-volt battery reset switch located on the panel, on the left side of the steering wheel, which allows 15 seconds to start the car. If we wait too long, we will have to press the switch again. To recharge the battery, we will need to drive the car for at least thirty minutes or leave it in "ready" mode in an open space for the same period of time, allowing the battery to recharge.

After that, turn on the ignition and locate the command on the right side of the steering wheel at the top that allows you to access the on-board computer menu, then select the car symbol, after which select the "up arrow" command up to that the indication "tire pressure" appears on the display. At that point, press the "Ok" control on the steering wheel and keep it pressed to reset the signal.
