Removing the rear seat on a Tesla Model Y and Model 3 is simple: kneel behind the seat and insert your fingers between the base and the floor. Look for a lever that moves sideways and pull it towards you, lifting the seat to release it from the latch.

At this point, locate the electrical connectors under the seat (one for heating, one for the temperature sensor). To disconnect them, press the plastic tab and pull the connector.

Repeat for the other connector. The seat is now free and can be removed.

To reinstall it, reverse the order: reconnect the connectors, position the seat, and press down until you hear the locking click. This procedure is valid for both models.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
