How do you replace the key fob battery on a Toyota Rav4? In this detailed video, follow these steps: take your key fob and slide the button to release the metal key. Once extracted, use a screwdriver to pry between the two plastic halves of the key cover until they separate. Remove the worn battery with a screwdriver, take a new one of the same size and voltage. Reassemble the cover by pressing the buttons until you hear a click. Finally, insert the metal key back into the fob. Check that the fob functions correctly.
