How to remove the door panel on a Toyota Auris

Model: Toyota Auris E180 - Years 2012-2018

Start by opening the door of your Toyota Auris. Unclip the panel inserts: using a plastic tool or your hands, unclip the panel inserts of the door. These are usually located along the edge of the panel. This will allow you to reach the screws that secure the panel to the door. Once you reach the screws, unscrew them using an appropriate screwdriver. Make sure to remove all the screws holding the panel in place. Remove the cover near the exterior side mirror: look for a cover near the exterior side mirror. Remove it to access the electrical connector of the side mirror. Once the connector is exposed, carefully disconnect it. Now you can unclip the panel from the door. Carefully lever to avoid damaging the panel or the fixing clips.
