Don't know how to replace the battery in your key fob? Here's how to replace the battery in the key on a Toyota Auris: take your key fob and, using a screwdriver, pry between the two parts of the plastic key cover (remove the cap), then extract the worn battery, take a new one of the same size and voltage, and insert it into the designated slot. Refit the cap on the key fob cover, pressing down on the plastic cover of the key until you hear it click into place. Finally, test the proper functioning of the key fob.
