How to reset the Diesel filter warning light on the Toyota HiLux

In this video we can see a simple and effective system for resetting the diesel filter light of the Toyota HiLux: we open the front hood and go to the filter: here we find on the diesel filter cap, a connecting tab. We disconnect it gently and leave it next to the filter. With this connector disconnected, we go to the driver's seat and turn on the instrument panel, count to fifteen and, always with the control panel on, we can reattach the connector to its place. We then return to the driver's seat and verify that the filter light has turned off.

How to Open a Stuck Boot on the Peugeot 407?
