For illustrative purposes, we will see the procedure that will allow us to disable the traction control of the Toyota Prius; it is recommended not to deactivate this system in order not to compromise driving safety. So we get into the car and start turning on the instrument panel; then we press the accelerator pedal twice, then hold down the brake pedal and move the gear lever to the neutral position, as shown in the video. At this point, we press the handbrake button and then repeat the use of the accelerator pedal until the traction control is disabled.
