The malfunction of the remote control may be caused by the battery being discharged, which now needs to be replaced; let's see the replacement procedure on the key of the Toyota Prius. First, we take our remote control and start removing the physical key from inside it; then we leverage the slot created to open the remote control in two parts, accessing the electronic board and the battery, as shown in the video. Now we remove the battery and replace it with a new one, of the correct type (in this case a CR 2032 3V); insert it in the correct direction and finally reassemble the cover and the physical key.
