In this tutorial we can see how to replace the 12V battery in the Toyota Prius, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, make sure that the key is not inserted, so that you can operate safely, then open the hood, loosen the nut of the negative terminal with a 10mm wrench and disconnect it. Repeat the operation for the positive terminal, unscrew the bolt of the mounting bracket with a 12mm wrench and remove the battery from the housing. At this point, all that remains is to insert the replacement and reassemble everything following the reverse procedure.
