Replacing the Steering Track Rod End on a Toyota Yaris

Let's look at removing the steering track rod end on a Toyota Yaris. Position your car on a column lift and raise it to a comfortable height for working. Unscrew the wheel nuts with a telescopic spanner or air drill and remove the wheel from the vehicle. Start unscrewing the track rod end bolts with a socket spanner: unscrew the bolts located under the wishbone and stabiliser bar, then pull the track rod end away from the vehicle body. Fit the new track rod end, then screw it in with all the associated bolts. Finally, refit the wheel with the nuts.
