How to Reset the Service Light on a Toyota Highlander

To reset the service light on a Toyota Highlander, turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Using the controls on the steering wheel, scroll through the display screens until you reach the Settings menu. Once in the menu, use the arrows to find the section dedicated to the vehicle or maintenance. Inside, locate the entry related to scheduled maintenance or oil change. When the screen is visible, select the reset option for the interval. When prompted for confirmation, confirm the operation using the OK button on the steering wheel. Wait a few seconds for the system to complete the reset. Finally, turn off and restart the ignition to check that the maintenance warning has been cleared correctly.
