Toyota RAV4 2012: how to reset the maintenance light in seconds

On the Toyota RAV4 2012, turn the ignition to ON and use the ODO/TRIP button next to the dashboard to display TRIP A on the central display. Turn off the ignition, then press and hold the same ODO/TRIP button and, without releasing it, turn the ignition back to ON. Keep holding until the display turns back on and completes the reset; then release the button. Return to the normal screen with ODO/temperature and check that the "MAINT REQD" light is no longer illuminated. The procedure shown in the video is carried out entirely from the instrument cluster, using only the ODO/TRIP button and switching the ignition between OFF and ON, without diagnostic tools.
