To correctly and safely reset the maintenance light on your Toyota Prius, follow these steps. Start by turning on the instrument panel of the car, then locate the "ODO" button on the central dashboard and ensure that the total mileage is displayed on the mini display.

At this point, turn off and then turn on the instrument panel while simultaneously holding down the "ODO" button until the maintenance light reset is completed. Finally, turn off the car, and you are done.
