Replacing the Radio on a Toyota Yaris

Is the radio in your Toyota Yaris due for replacement? Let's go through the disassembly. Remove the air conditioning knobs; unscrew the securing screws inside. Pull the trim panel towards you with your hands, then extract the radio, being careful with the various wiring (disconnect the power connectors and the antenna cable). Install the original radio or a generic brand with a suitable metal adapter for the slot. Use a plastic adapter for connecting the terminals. Secure the radio in the centre console with the covering plastics. Screw in the screws beneath the knobs.
