Raise the car at the rear on suitable car stands and unscrew the fixing pins of the rear shock absorbers, placing a jack under the shock absorber support before removing the pin. Therefore, position the torsion bar which must pass in front of the suspension springs; repeat the same operation on the other side as well and carefully tighten the fixing pins. In this way, the torsional stiffness of the car will be considerably improved, benefiting the stability and road holding of the car as well as the symmetrical wear of the tires.
