How to Remove the Gear Knob of a Toyota Yaris

If you intend to replace the gear knob of a Toyota Yaris, first remove the currently fitted one. It is strongly advised to perform these operations with the engine off to avoid the risk of accidentally engaging a gear and moving the car. The gear knob on this model is mounted on a threaded rod. Therefore, to remove the gear knob, unscrew it anti-clockwise until the end of the threaded rod. Once you have finished unscrewing the gear knob, you will have successfully removed it and will be free to install the gear knob of your choice, ensuring it fits the threaded rod on your Yaris.
