The gearbox oil also requires periodic replacement. If you experience gear engagement problems, it is advisable to replace the oil as soon as possible.

Lift the vehicle and position a suitable container under the engine to collect the used oil. Open the filler cap to allow air to enter. Slowly unscrew the oil drain plug from the gearbox sump and let it drain.

Securely close the plug and refill the gearbox with the appropriate oil; the correct oil level is at the edge of the filler hole. Do not dispose of used oil in the environment; take it to designated collection centres.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space.
