Changing the Gearbox Oil on a Toyota Yaris

Model: Toyota Yaris Xp10 - Years 1999-2005

Lift the car and, to work with more space, remove the lower cover of the engine bay. Unscrew the drain bolt of the gearbox, as shown in the video, and collect the used oil in a container (dispose of it properly). Measure the amount of oil that has drained out to know how much you will need to add later, or fill until oil begins to flow out, which indicates that the gearbox is full. Pump the new lubricant in through the designated hole (see video) after closing the drain plug (tighten it well), and finally, replace the cover on the engine bay.
