Replacing the Poly V Belt on a Toyota Prius

Model: Toyota Prius Xw30, MK 2 - Years 2009-2015

Open the bonnet and prop it up with the support rod. Unscrew the clamp and the 10 mm bolts that secure the air filter intake pipe. Once the duct is detached, loosen the alternator belt tensioner using a 12 mm spanner. Raise the car with a jack and work from underneath: unscrew the fixing screws of the engine side cover, as shown in the video, with a 10 mm socket. After removing the cover, take off the poly V belt. Place the new belt on the tensioner pulley and fit it in the same way the old belt was installed. Proceed in reverse for complete reassembly.
