How to Remove the Steering Wheel of a Toyota Yaris

Before you can start, sit in the driver's seat of your Toyota Yaris. First, rotate the steering wheel ninety degrees to the right. This will expose the rear clips that secure the airbag. Proceed to unclip these clips, then remove the airbag module from the steering wheel, and finally disconnect the associated wiring and connectors. Once you have removed the airbag, you will have access to the central nut that secures the steering wheel to the steering column. At this point, unscrew and remove this nut, then unclip and remove the steering wheel, successfully completing the disassembly.
