How to Remove the Airbag from the Toyota Yaris Steering Wheel

To remove the airbag from the steering wheel of the Toyota Yaris, follow these steps: locate the two screws on either side of the steering wheel at the back and unscrew them. Lift the top part of the steering wheel that contains the airbag and horn, and make gentle movements to avoid potential airbag deployment. Disconnect the white connector located above the steering column, then disconnect the orange and black connectors located just above the airbag by lifting the two yellow tabs. At this point, the airbag is removed.
