Removing the Rear Door Panel on a Toyota Auris

Model: Toyota Auris E180 - Years 2012-2018

Remove the armrest cover by prying underneath with a plastic trim tool and unscrew the underlying screw with a cross-head screwdriver. At this point, as clearly shown in the video, move the plastic cover at the height of the opening handle and unscrew the screw underneath here as well. Done! On this model of car, these are the only screws holding the panel to the door; the rest is simply clipped in. Therefore, insert a trim tool or plastic wedge into the gap around the panel and pull it out bit by bit from the door, then disconnect the cables.
