In today's video we will see how to disassemble and replace the serpentine belt on the Toyota Corolla 1.8 VVT-I, following these simple steps. First of all, we open the bonnet and loosen the belt pretensioner to be able to remove it; to do this we will unscrew the alternator tension bolt, in order to loosen the serpentine belt, as shown in the video. At this point, let's remove it and replace it with the new one, of the right type; we just have to insert it correctly and screw the alternator screw again to pull and put the belt in position!
