In today's video, you will see how to remove and replace the serpentine belt on the Toyota Corolla 1.8 VVT-I by following these simple steps. First, open the bonnet and loosen the belt tensioner to remove it; to do this, you will need to undo the tension bolt on the alternator to slacken the serpentine belt, as shown in the video. At this point, remove it and replace it with the correct new one; all that's left is to fit it correctly and re-tighten the alternator bolt to position the belt!
