Replacing the Key Battery of a Toyota C-HR

Locate the spring-loaded lever, push it, and extract the metal stem (key) with its plastic holder. Next, with the empty housing, open the shell, taking care not to damage it (use your hands and avoid metal tools). At this point, you will have two units, one with the button panel and the other with the electronic part. You will work on the latter. Carefully note how the electronic device is positioned, remove it from the housing, and you will find a CR 2032 button battery rated at 3V. Remove it from the housing and place the new battery in the exact same orientation as the old one. Reinsert the electronic device into its housing and close the two parts with a simple press of your fingers. Reinsert the metal stem with the holder into its housing and test the correct functioning of your work.
