How to Reset the Service Light on a Toyota Rav 4

When you start your car, you may often find warning lights illuminated. In the case of the service light, it is just a small "misunderstanding" of the onboard computer, and no engine intervention is necessary to clear it. To reset it, first, turn on the ignition. Observe the steering wheel and locate the button with an arrow pointing left. It is centrally located on the left side. Press it and navigate through the menu using the arrow keys. Enter the vehicle settings menu and then click on "scheduled maintenance". When prompted to proceed with the reset, press "ok" and you're done.
