How to Use Adaptive Cruise Control on a Toyota Vehicle

In this video, we will see how Adaptive Cruise Control works on a modern Toyota vehicle. The controls are located on the right side of the steering wheel: "ON/OFF" button to turn the system on and off; "SET+/SET-" to set the current speed and to restore it after braking; "button to set the distance from the preceding vehicle". Activate the system with the "ON/OFF" button and reach the desired speed with the "set" button to fix the speed, and the icon on the dashboard will turn green. Now, adjust the safety distance from the vehicle in front: there are 3/4 levels (short, medium, long, very long) and the selection is displayed on the dashboard. Once the parameters are set, the car maintains speed and distance, and if it detects a slower vehicle, it automatically slows down to maintain the set distance. To temporarily accelerate, simply press the accelerator; releasing it will allow the ACC to regain control; the same applies when braking. To completely deactivate it, press "on/off" again.
