How to Check Oil Level and Quality

Model: Toyota Rav 4 Xa20, MK 2 - Years 2000-2006

First, open the bonnet and remove the metal dipstick that measures the oil. Remember to park the car on level ground, with the engine off and cold. Clean the dipstick and reinsert it to check the oil level; if the level is between the two lines, it is correct, but if it is below, you need to add oil immediately. If you do not have the correct engine oil, you can find it on the top of the dipstick or go to a garage where they will change the engine oil for you.
