Replacing the Oil Filter and Engine Oil of a Toyota RAV 4 3 (XA30)

The video shows how to replace both the oil filter and engine oil of a Toyota RAV 4 3 (XA30). Open the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Unscrew the oil filler cap, lift the car with a jack, and loosen the fixing elements of the lower cover of the oil sump with a socket spanner before removing it. Clean the oil inlet cap. Unscrew the drain plug with a socket spanner and let the used oil flow into an external container with a minimum capacity of 5 litres. Unscrew the oil filter, remove it, and clean its seat. Screw in the new filter with the socket spanner, after lubricating its seal, to a torque of 23 Nm. Do the same with the drain plug, to a torque of 27 Nm. Reverse all assembly operations. Pour 4.3 litres of oil into the reservoir, checking the fill level with the dipstick. Close the reservoir and recheck the level after running the engine for a few minutes.
