How to Replace the Key Cover of a Toyota Corolla

In this video, you will learn how to replace the key cover of a Toyota Corolla. Purchase the new key case and obtain a flathead screwdriver. Use the screwdriver to pry open the cover into two parts. You can now remove the battery and the chip from the old key; handle the chip carefully to avoid damaging sensitive parts. Open the new cover and insert the chip along with the battery inside. If necessary, solder some parts of the chip connected to the cover using small pins. Close the new key shell and test it.
